Where the stealth is a priority

Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron’s Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust.
Players control Garrett, a master thief, as he goes about a series of missions, most of which are focused around stealing from the rich. As with the previous games in the series, players must use stealth in order to overcome challenges, while violence is left as a minimally effective last resort.


There is a variety of routes through each level and players are able to utilize a variety of playing styles to traverse them. The game contains a variety of ways to distract or kill guards, such as barrels of oil which can be set alight. Levels also contain money and valuable objects which Garrett can steal; these are immediately converted into money which can be spent on equipment and upgrades.

It may not be a traditional Thief game and the story may be awful but there's still some great stealth to be had.

Terraria

Dig, fight, build!

Terraria is a 2D multiplayer sandbox where you try to mine and defeat enemies to survive and get better equipment . The equipment is divided into nine different tiers that are accessed by killing different bosses. To make this equipment you need to mine the new materials and craft things with them.


Though on the surface it looks like just another "me too" indie game seeking to ride the coattails of Minecraft's success, Terraria expands on the familiar sandbox gameplay with a greater emphasis on combat and adventure that proves very satisfying.

It doesn't seem to be slowing down, either, meaning the game you can buy today wonít be the same game you can buy in six months time. So that twenty hours can easily turn into forty, sixty, a hundred. If you let it.

Bit trip runner

Arcade-style and rhytm!

Bit.Trip Runner is a 2D platformer in which the player takes control of Commander Video, the main protagonist of the Bit.Trip series.
The game is split into three worlds, known as "Impetus", "Tenacity" and "Triumph", each containing 11 stages and a boss encounter.
In each level, Commander Video runs automatically from left to right. To complete a level, the player must input certain commands on the controller, including jumping, sliding and kicking, to avoid or destroy obstacles and enemies. If player is hit by any object, he is immediately warped back to the beginning of the level.

Bit.Trip Runner is glorious to behold and hear, but when it comes time to play it is often a frustrating experience.
